The [former] Apostolic Chapel, Aston Street, Wem

A plain brick building, built in 1922 was registered for the solemnization of marriages on 4th April 1924. The building was still in use in 1995. On 26 January 2000 the building was de-registered as a place of worship, and the building was sold to Wem Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society which was still using it in 2016.
There had been a Catholic and Apostolic Church situated in Noble Street in Wem in 1839 which was reported in 1851 to have been closed "about 8 years".
