SHROPSHIRE'S NONCONFORMIST CHAPELS

[former] Stoke Heath Primitive Methodist Chapel [former] Stoke Heath Primitive Methodist Chapel
This plain little chapel was built in 1841. In 1851 the chapel had seating for 90 worshippers. On Census Sunday 30 March 1851 there were 60 worshippers at their afternoon service and 65 worshippers at their evening service. The Sunday school was attended by 33 children in the afternoon. I was not sure whether it was still in use in 2005 when I last saw it - it certainly had not been converted to a house. It seems to have closed now (2016).
