Morda Primitive Methodist Chapel This small chapel of polychrome brick was erected in 1871 on land bought from a Mr Peate. The foundation stones were laid on Thursday 21st September 1871 and the chapel was opened on Sunday January 21st 1872. A small hall has been erected next to it, probably built betwen the wars. Services were still being held in the chapel in 2019 but the building was put up for sale in 2021. Grid ref: SJ 287277
