[former] Wettles Primitive Methodist Chapel, Leamore Common, Wistanstow There were two Methodist Chapels in Leamore Common, this is the Primitive Methodist chapel. This chapel's foundations stones were laid on Monday 13th October 1862. Its date of closure is not yet known. The chapel was de-registered as a place of worship on 24th January 1980. The chapel & adjoining cottage were subsequently sold and have now been demolished. The site was empty in 2005, only the front brick wall remaining.
