[former] Primitive Methodist Chapel, Haughton, parish of West Felton A chapel was built in 1832 by the local Primitive Methodists at a cost of between £60 and £87. In the 1851 Religious Census it was reported to have had 145 free sittings. There were 67 worshippers at their afternoon service and 90 in the evening, plus 57 Sunday scholars in the morning. In 1881 it was reported that the need for a bigger chapel had been felt for a long time. The old building was partially pulled down and rebuilt to make it 1/3 larger. It was designed by Mr Bremner Smith of Oswestry and built by Messrs W. & G. Thomas. The foundation stones were laid on Monday the 25th July 1881. In 1904 the chapel was reported to have extinguished its debt. In 1911 it was described as a "fine gothic building". The chapel was still shown on the 1" O.S. map surveyed in 1959, but the building no longer exists.
