SHROPSHIRE'S NONCONFORMIST CHAPELS

[former] Bache Mill Wesleyan Methodist Chapel
[former] Bache Mill Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Diddlebury
This Wesleyan chapel was built of polychrome brick in 1879, the foundation stones having been laid on the 7th August 1879. Mr J. Overton gave the land on which it was built and the builder was Mr C. Weale of Seifton. The cost of the building was about £200; about £70 was collected in donations on that day. The chapel opened on Tuesday the 24th February 1880, and was described at the time as a "neat structure". The chapel closed sometime between 1941 & 1964 and when seen in 2002 was converted to residential use.
